- 분자생리학 특론 (Advanced Molecular Phsiology) (English Lecture)

 Advanced Molecular Physiology is intended to provide an up-to-date review of biochemistry and molecular/cellular biology. The lecture topics deal with molecular human physiology and also in depth challenges such as cellular signaling and omics.

 

- 시스템생물학 (System Biology)

 시스템생물학( Systems Biology)은 기존 생물학의 단편 주의적 접근 방식의 한계를 극복하고 세포 또는 생명체 단위를 하나의 시스템으로 놓고 그 안에서 일어나는 전체적인 생명현상을 총괄적이고도 체계적으로 이해하기 위한 최신 생물학의 한 분야이다.

 

- 선천면역 (Innate Immunity) (English Lecture)

 Animals and plants are exposed to myriads of potential microbial invaders and there has recently been a rapid increase in the amount of information available regarding receptors capable of capturing such invaders. In the case of animals, innate immunity acts as the primary defense against infection by pathogens. Less is known regarding the activation of innate immunity. Toll like receptor (TLR), which is a core receptor for innate immunity, connects the innate and adaptive immune system. It has also become apparent that some TLR ligands have been used as adjuvants in various vaccines. TLRs have recently gained a great deal of attention due to their ability to elicit an effective innate immune response. Understanding the intricate relationships between various molecules involved in innate immune signaling and their positive or negative regulation is a key focus for the development of a natural green pharmacy (Green Pharm). Green Pharm, which uses innate immunity, can be a very effective method of controlling or treating many diseases while helping communities safely reduce the environmental impact of pharmaceutical waste.

 

- 분자생물학 실험방법 (Experimental Molecular Biology)

 Part 1. 생명과학 및 분자의학에서 기본적으로 이용되고 잇는 여러가지 분자 세포생물학적 접근 방법에 대한 이론 및 실험적 know-how를 설명하고, 이와 관련된 논문을 통해 결과를 분석하는 능력을 배양한다. Part 2. human genome project 이후 새롭게 등장하는 분자생물학적 접근방법을 소개하고자 한다.
